November, 2001 Dr. Stephen Spiegelberg nominated to chair ASTM Task Force

Dr. Stephen Spiegelberg was nominated to chair a new ASTM task force addressing cleanliness issues in biomedical devices. The task force will draft new ASTM standards relating to techniques to assess cleanliness, and acceptable levels of residues.

August, 2001 National Institutes of Health awarded SBIR grant to CPG

The National Institutes of Health awarded a Phase I SBIR grant to CPG to develop a radiation dosimeter. This system will extend the range of measured radiation dose well beyond the saturation limit of conventional photochromic dye dosimeters. January, 2001 National Science Foundation awards 2 Phase I SBIR grants to CPG

CPG was awarded 2 Phase I SBIR grants from the National Science Foundation. One grant was to develop a capillary breakup rheometer, while the other grant was to develop an instrument used to measuring the swelling behavior of crosslinked polymers (the SRT).
