Why Do I Need Liquid Chromatography?
Liquid chromatography can be used to identify and quantify non-volatile compounds found in your products. Product deformulation, contaminant identification, leachables assessment, root cause analysis, and quality release testing can all make use of liquid chromatography.
What Kind of Liquid Chromatography Do We Offer?
Cambridge Polymer Group (CPG) offers a wide range of LC and LC-MS methodologies for analysis of polymers and related samples. UHPLC (Ultra High Pressure Liquid Chromatography) is available for all LC separations. LC-MS analysis is offered using TOF MS and tandem LC-MS is offered using QTOF-MS. Also, UV and ELSD detection is available. CPG scientists are skilled in sample preparation techniques used to prepare samples for LC analysis such as microwave assisted extraction, Soxhlet extraction, and solid-phase extraction (SPE). Of note, CPG specializes in the preparation and LC-MS analysis of samples for extractables/leachables (E&L analysis) to assist our clients with ISO-10993 compliance. Compound identification is performed by our skilled mass spectroscopists, utilizing fragmentation and adduct analysis along with their knowledge of organic chemistry.
