Jason Berlin (Scientist I)

Jason BerlinJason has a B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University. His masters’ thesis involved hydrogel synthesis and characterization. Jason held positions at Depuy Spine, Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Center, and Sontra Medical. Jason’s research at CPG is focused on characterization methods for biomimetic materials, custom formulations, and tissue work.

Maureen Kennedy (Operations Manager)

Maureen has a B.A. from Wellesley College. She has served in many executive positions, including Vice President of Product Services at Claritas, Executive Vice President at the Travel Institute, and most recently, the Executive Director at Women of Means. At CPG, Maureen is in charge of administrative business operations, human resource issues, and leads the Quality Assurance Unit.

Emily Heuer (Research Associate)

Emily HeuerEmily has a Bachelors of Science from the University of Connecticut-Storrs in Biomedical Engineering. Her work at CPG is focusing on hydrogel research, as well as analytical testing of polymers.

Dennise Jayham (Office Manager)

Dennise JayhamDennise is responsible for AR/AP, bookkeeping, and general office business at CPG. She has worked at Gillette, Adecco, and Harvard St. Neighborhood Health.

Molly McCormack (Research Associate)

Molly McCormackMolly has a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering. Her work at CPG focuses on instrumentation design and fabrication, in addition to analytical testing.

Bayen Miller (Scientist I)

Bayen MillerBayen has a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied drug formulations. He has worked as a consultant at Light Pharma, assisting in manufacturing process analysis. His work at CPG has focused on the design and development of custom laboratory and test instrumentation, as well as analytical testing of polymers.

Norma Turner (Research Associate)

Norma holds a B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta Edmonton and Queen's University Kingston. She has developed hydrogels for drug delivery and other medical applications, and is experienced in polymer characterization.

Martin van Buren (Scientist II)

Marty holds a B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry from Northeastern University and Rochester Institute of Technology. He has extensive experience in hydrogel and polymer formulation development, having worked at Bausch & Lomb, Arthur D. Little, Hirion, and Premium Power.
